I have yet to read a thread about how the 15K saintly is just the same as the collectors but with a lil more detail and how dissapointing/not wort it, it was.

cut them some slack; I bet their besy on other ideas.
There was no sense in complaining or being disappointed with those armor sets, because they were released at the games release or in the early patches. They had MONTHS to do this, many months. We'd started petitions, emails, thread after thread, in-game "Give me my goddamn armor update" gatherings for the single armor set we'd been deprived of for so long. We've reason to be displeased with unpleasant results, me thinks.

Though, some people seem to like it. Even if I think it's crap, I guess they did release it, even if it was a five minute rush job.

That doesn't look bad. I must say I do like the leg pieces anyway. I like the spikes coming from the ankles.

I like the male set a lot, but I have a female necro.

I'll just go with the torso and boots I think. I've had every 15k suit, but for some reason my black collector's tunic is still my favourite I've been wanting to replace my bloodstained boots for ages too.

I notice the (yellow + orange + green) gold mix that works really well on collector's doesn't on 15k tormentor's (too green)... black it is then!

I'll post a screenie or two when I get something I'm happy with

Would someone mind posting a Before and After picture?

Never played necro's before and cannot see the difference at all.

It would also help if the screenshots were taken outside of any town and in an instance to make it much clearer.

thanks

Although it didn't change much, I like it. Both male and female.

After the last couple of armor updates (Remember the Gladiator update?) and all the bitchin' and moanin' that they got on the forums, what were you expecting?

I think someone DID put some effort into it, and part of that effort was in keeping the same basic theme while giving it a little something extra. I can imagine the artist trolling the forums with excitement after the release, then after these comments going back to chapter 2 feeling demoralized. Like nothing they do is going to be good enough, so why try?

I'm not a big fan of taking double holy damage, so the Tormentor's set isn't for me, but I for one like the look. Especially the female, but the male ain't bad either. Kinda Hellrazor.

What did you want for nothing? Rubber Biscuit?

I like it too. Not saying its worth it, but I like that there arent any of those strappy things sticking out everywhere. And yes, Deldrimor Steel costs way too much. I essentially spent almost 30k on what was originally just a 15k top on my ranger(studded). For 15k armor to be worth it, it should 1. look really different, other than aforementioned strappy things, not much difference and 2. it should dye really well. NO problems there.

It's vain to think they have spent all these months working to get a perfect Tormentor's 15k version. Do you really think that, with:
  • The Christmas update coming up
  • The World Championship getting organized
  • Observer Mode's deadline creeping near
  • Chapter 2 being worked on
, they would have time to dedicate even one single designer on one single set of armor for several months?

Just to clarify, it's not double holy damage. Each piece of tormentors you wear makes you take 5 extra holy damage each time you are hit with holy damage. So, 2 pieces would be 10, etc etc etc.

I don't have a nec, but my guildie does. I have to say, the 15k tormentors looks a lot different from the droks armour. I can't believe some people are being so childish about it. As mentioned above, the creators/designers etc. have a lot of stuff going on right now, and if people expected something completely shocking, then they are very silly. I'm sure with all the stuff that they're doing right now, they tried their hardest.

And the people who say it looks just like the droks armour. Wow. Get your eyes checked.
